The beauty of Burundi

This post is less reading and more seeing.

These are pictures I took from my journey from the airport in the main capital Bujumbura, to Gitega.
it also includes shots of when I am out and about in Gitega.

🙂 I see a lot of the inspiration. Didn’t know you finally got to do the natural hair stuff. I started as well as you may know. Twisted recently.. it’s cheaper too (lol). Once in a while I’ll do braids but most of the time natural. I’m enjoying the feeling.. plus I’ve finally got a conditioner that works perfectly well with my hair. I go to the shop just to look for hair stuff, and some of the indian ones too. Just that I love my afro, don’t want a long hair any more.

Thats really kool. Natural hair is liberating but here, it was getting too much to manage with no washing, etc, so I had to cornrow with braids. But yes, When I come back to London, back to Natural. You should keep a blog about it and inspire others! X
